Every day, people depend on us — for prayer, for encouragement, for guidance, for support. But before we can pour into others, we must stay connected to the One who pours into us.
Jesus didn’t say we can do less without Him. He said we can do nothing.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5
A branch doesn’t struggle to produce fruit — it simply stays connected to the vine. The life, the strength, the nourishment, the power… all flow naturally when the connection is strong.
As Christian Assistants, our calling is beautiful — but it’s also spiritual. We pray for others. We counsel others. We guide others. We encourage others.
But we cannot do it in our own strength. We cannot do it with yesterday’s prayer. We cannot do it with yesterday’s anointing. We cannot do it with yesterday’s connection.
We need fresh strength. Fresh grace. Fresh power. Fresh connection.
When we stay connected to Jesus, our words carry life. Our prayers carry power. Our counsel carries wisdom. Our presence carries peace.
But when we disconnect — even a little — we feel it. We get tired faster. We get discouraged easier. We feel empty, overwhelmed, or spiritually dry.
The good news is simple: You don’t need to be strong — you just need to stay connected.
🙏 Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for reminding us that without You, we can do nothing. We ask You today for fresh strength, fresh grace, and fresh power. Keep us connected to You — the true Vine. Fill us so we can pour into others. Strengthen our hearts, renew our spirit, and guide every prayer, every word, and every step we take. We depend on You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
