Without God, I can do nothing . . .
Just like a branch cannot bear fruit by itself, we too need God to flourish in every aspect of our lives. John 15:5 says, “I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.”
This is a powerful metaphor for our spiritual life. God is the vine, and we are the branches.
Just as branches cannot bear fruit by themselves, our efforts are fruitless without Jesus!!!

We need a divine union that we find the ability to grow and produce fruit that reflects God’s love and character. When we remain in Jesus and His teachings, we thrive and bear fruit. |
| Let’s choose to seek God through prayer, worship, and reading His Word. |

| Father God, Thank You for being the source of our life. You are vine that sustains and strengthens our life and we are the branches. Help us to remain deeply rooted in your word and give us the ability to trust in your promise. Guide us to live a fruitful life by reflecting your love and light in all we do. Remind us always that ‘apart from You, we can achieve nothing!’ In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen! |
