Do you feel busy, overwhelmed, and unsure what to prioritize first? We all surrounded with responsibilities and dealing situations before too late. The questions, what is your priority?
It doesn’t have to be the whole hour but when we seek God first, He brings order, clarity, and provision into every area of our lives.
The bible says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
The Holy Spirit reminding us of a simple but powerful truth: priority determines outcome. When we put God first—not last, not occasionally—everything else begins to align.
Seeking God first doesn’t mean ignoring responsibilities. It means starting with Him, inviting Him into your decisions, your work, your family, and your plans. When God is first, stress loses its power and confusion gives way to peace.
Today’s declarations:
“Lord Jesus, today I seek You first. You are my priority, my source, and my foundation. I trust in You to order my steps and add everything I need.”
As you begin your day, take time to pray before you plan, worship before you worry, and trust before you strive. God sees your heart, and He promises that when you seek Him first, He will take care of the rest.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, forgive me for ignoring you and making things before you. Today I choose to seek You first. Align my heart with Your will, guide my decisions, and help me to trust in You fully. I surrender my plans to You, knowing that Your ways are perfect. In Jesus name, Amen.
